Who is T.A. Lowell?

Timothy A. Lowell started working on fishing boats at the age of 12. At 17 he was captain of a 40-foot commercial salmon troller. He earned his U.S. Coast Guard. Merchant Marine Masters license at 21 and ran charter fishing boats out of San Francisco Bay for years. Currently, Tim teaches Curiosity Club enrichment programs in schools and camps throughout the Puget Sound region, where he regales students with stories from his days at sea. He enjoys 'teaching, writing curriculum, and is the author of the activity book 'IS IT GONNA BLOW UP?' – Creating Happy Young Scientists, Engineers, Builders and Artists. He is also the author of the picture book series 'TIMMY FISHES' based on his adventures at sea. The series includes: SHARK ISLAND, SALAMI, BOLOGNA & CHEESE, and GHOST SHIP. A pirate book is expected in 2023.
